Perplexity

Filling Space
I graduated High School 10 years ago. While in class, if I wasn't asleep I was doodling. I would either draw pictures of guys that I thought were hot (how embarrassing) or I would make these geometric doodles to fill up the empty space of my notebook paper. I know, I sound like a slacker. To put your mind at ease, I graduated early with straight A's. Ahh, the American education system, what a snoozer.

I've been thinking a lot lately about inspiration. Since mine doesn't also come in the visual form, I've decided to start posting the music or podcasts that I was listening to when I designed the fabric. So here goes...

Behold, is it fire? Behold, is it water?

My heart is full of burning fire

I have an obsession with ancient Egypt.
I can't get enough.
When I came across this elaborately carved lid in National Geographic my heart fluttered.
It inspired me to make a design using similar elements.

Now You See Me

Spoonflower has a camouflage contest going on right now so I entered a fabric design based off Flecktarn but with a vintage closet color palette.

Vote over, another loss! Haha.
